HISTORY OF TRESHNISH

Treshnish Point has been inhabited for centuries, and if you are careful when out walking on this beautiful corner of Mull, you can see evidence of the places early people lived. There is a dun, and a fort, a medieval graveyard called Kilmaluig, a cave where allegedly whisky was distilled, several medieval settlements and the well preserved atmospheric villages of Crackaig and Glacgugaraidh.
